Created On: April 15, 2024 | By Debbie | Leave a comment Savor the flavors of summer with this strawberry spinach salad recipe with poppyseed dressing, almonds, avocado, red onion, and coconut bacon. This salad makes a great side dish for everything from brunch to dinner. Post originally published June 2019; updated April 2024. This strawberry spinach salad with poppyseed dressing is the quintessential salad for spring and summer! As soon as those juicy strawberries made their appearance at the farmer’s market, we’ve been buying at least 2 quarts a week. (They don’t last long with our toddler around.) This…

In total, 750 different contributors worked on WordPress 6.7. In this post, I want to take you through some of the highlights of the release, including features that regular users will care about and features that developers might care about.
Oooph. It has been a month of seemingly quite random online and in-person purchases but by God have these things tickled the collective fancy of my Instagram followers. From a pressure-relieving seat-pad to a face contour wand that creates instant cheekbones, here are the bits and pieces that people have gone wild for. I mean we should obviously go in with the sexiest item: this Gel Seat Cushion “for long sitting” has a special honeycomb design that helps to spread load and relieve pressure on the lower back, hips, sciatic nerve and – crucially – on the old fanjita. The undercarriage. Yes,…
I have fond memories of making my homemade applesauce recipe with the kids every year. We no longer live in an area with apple trees (too hot down here!) but I still love making my own. A word of caution though … your family will never want to eat store-bought applesauce again. Mine won’t! Easy Recipe For the Best Applesauce There’s truly no comparison between homemade and watery, store-bought applesauce. The apple flavor from homemade is so much better.…

But the magic is fading. In the face of warming, acidifying oceans, coral skeletons are at risk of dissolving. Scientists are racing to develop ways to help stave off collapse. But their efforts are hampered by the difficulty of studying delicate coral polyps in the lab.In a first for helping coral polyps respond to these threats, scientists from the University of Florida have recreated the first stage of the coral skeleton creation process in a common, squishy sea anemone. The technique transforms this soft-bodied creature into the perfect lab model for researching coral skeletons and developing ways to bolster coral polyps…
But write about his non-puking I shall, because this could be a handy old bit of information for some. It’s the sort of helpful info that should be freely passed around, perhaps from generation to generation, even, daubed onto a cave wall or scratched onto a scroll of parchment. Ye ancient words of Ruthe Crillye, in service to cat-owners everywhere. Saving carpets and rugs, one house at a time. In case you’re new to me (hello!) then let me introduce you to my cat, Mr Bear. He’s a British Shorthair, will be thirteen this month and is a bit of…
Formally known as camellia sinensis, green tea is a great way to perk up tired skin. Camellia sinensis leaf extract is gaining popularity in toners, cleansers, and hydrating serums. While store-bought brands may give you that dewy look, I’m not a fan of some of the ingredients. Toxic parabens and retinol and tongue twisters like butylene glycol and ethylhexylglycerin to name a few. Some green tea serums add ingredients like panthenol, squalane, allantoin, and peptides. These have their benefits but can be hard to source outside of a lab. This green tea serum uses simple, natural ingredients for an easy…

Think of NAD as cellular currency in your body. It’s required for things like energy production, DNA repair, and regulating gene expression. All of these processes sustain cell life and resist aging. As we age, our NAD levels drop, leading to a decline in these functions. Not surprisingly, this contributes to the aging process. This is why people are trying to maintain or boost their NAD levels. Experts believe maintaining higher levels…
